Modern Coastal approached us to develop a complete brand identity that would capture the essence of their curated collection of coastal holiday homes. They needed a brand that felt both contemporary and timeless, evoking the natural beauty of the English South coast while appealing to discerning guests seeking memorable coastal escapes.
Drawing from the natural beauty of the Hampshire coastline, we developed a sophisticated palette that captures the essence of sea, sand, and sky. Each colour was carefully selected to evoke the holiday feeling while maintaining professional appeal.
We developed two distinct logo concepts, each with its own character and advantages. Both designs honour the coastal theme while offering different aesthetic approaches for the brand.
This design focuses on creating a brand that is timeless and simple, yet memorable. Using the iconic Gill Sans typeface, the logo features a vertical line representing the tide coming in on the beach, blurring the boundaries between sea and land.
A more contemporary design featuring an interlinked stencil font that connects beautifully with the brand name. Stencil typefaces are readily associated with seaside and coastal themes, offering sophisticated versatility across different colour backgrounds.
