Create a new brand identity and website for a handpicked collection showcasing the best large holiday homes in the UK. The brand needed to be in line with the high-end properties being showcased, yet subtle enough to let the properties shine.
This in-house project for one of our own websites, part of the Smart Sites family of websites, allowed us complete creative and technical freedom. We developed a sophisticated brand identity that complements rather than competes with the luxury properties.
The company name Large Holiday Homes is built on the premium domain www.largeholidayhomes.co.uk - perfectly optimised for search engines whilst being instantly descriptive. To create a more memorable brand identity, we distilled the name down to its essence, crafting the letters LHH into a simple yet distinctive logo mark that works beautifully across all applications.
The website was custom built from the ground up, where we took control of every technical and visual element. We wanted the website to have super clean code for fast loading times, ensuring an optimal user experience across all devices.
The design was created with a mobile-first approach, where form follows function in a paired-down 'less is more' style. The clean, minimal aesthetic allows the stunning property photography to take centre stage, while the elegant typography and refined colour palette reinforce the premium positioning of the brand.
