We have been working with the owners of Hallin Bank for over 15 years - something we're really proud of, and the current website is the second website we produced for them.
The owners asked us to promote their holiday cottages by creating a stylish and classic website that wouldn't quickly age. So we selected the classic Trajan font (which still looks good after 2000 years!) and combined it with a colour palette based on tones found in Lake District farm houses.
The focus of the website was not just on the accommodation but also the setting and surrounding landscape. We highlighted this by creating image slide shows with beautiful text and buttons at the top of each page. We also inserted a unique collage of images at the footer of each page to add extra interest.
Throughout the website we positioned buttons to drive users to the bookings and contact pages, thus increasing the number of bookings and enquiries.
The website is fully responsive so looks great on all screen sizes and can be completely updated by the client using an easy to using Visual Builder as part of the Content Management System.
